Our mission is “Promoting art and mentoring the next generation of artists while expanding the art community in our own backyard” and the Starke Elementary School Art Exhibit was a great way to hit the ground running in pursuit of this mission.
The Reception was held at ArtWorks, DeLand was a stellar event that drew a large crowd of supporters including Starke administrators, teachers, and volunteers; ArtWorks Artist members and volunteers; and a plethora of community members.
This event filled our hearts and it was so gratifying hosting the students’ work in our gallery. It was amazing to have the younger artists rub elbows and share techniques with the ArtWorks artists.
